I have been told I have tendinitis in both shoulders due to my condition (I think it’s enthetisis).
I had tendonopathy in both shoulders and it lead to a full rotator cuff sprain and full back sprain. The best thing to heal is rest and an oversized heating pad. I also used solomons seal root oil to strengthen and repair. I did home PT by walking my arms up the wall. Don't let them freeze up. It takes about 5 months.
Have a Tens unit at first I loved it , for some reason now it annoys me . The pulsing isn’t soothing any longer .
Heating pads I never tire of . 😊👍
I use a tens machine occasionally. It seems to help, but it is limited to one area at a time. I seem to have a lot of painful spots at a time.
Plus, the heat just feels better. I've been using comfrey salve that has yarrow, lavender, and plantain. All herbs that speed healing. It's called organic Goop Balm on Amazon. I use it twice a day on my knee which is battling bursitis and tendon damage. I use the salve and then heat to help push it into the tissue. Its a great help and I've seen big improvements.
Either way you want. Ice stops the swelling but also slows healing. Heat speeds healing by signaling the troops to come and fight.🤠
