I’m the 10% of population that lost hearing and have nerve deafness. So I imagine it could cause nerve pain.

Wow, you did!! I am not thrilled with the ideas of them drilling into my head. How bad is your hearing? I hear with hearing aids. Profoundly hard of hearing. I start hearing at 90 decibels in the left ear and 75 I think in the right.

Suggestion, ever think of having a cochlear implant, I did…. Never regretted, never to old I was told

I had the measles and lost my hearing. I’m almost deaf and hearing aids help a lot. My nerves in the ears are mostly dead.
