I have been diagnosed with Psa now 3 years and have taken 4 different biological medications and it seems like its only getting worse. All my nails are affected. Joint pain is the worst. It hurts to sleep because its like I am laying on rocks no matter on my back, stomach, or sides. Shoulder, hips, elbows. feet, side of legs, and hands. I am 50 and waddle like a duck. I have a hard time getting to a standing Position because of the stiffness in the hips. My ortho doctor states" you can… read more

Honestly, I’ve been better off doing without so many specialists with so many different ideas that don’t work at all! I take 1,000 mg of ibuprofen every morning with drs ok, along with some famotadine. Helps greatly with inflammation and pain for me. For my skin I use unscented Dove. Always gently pat dry. I then apply grape seed oil. It soaks in pretty quickly and then I use CeraVe lotion on face and cream on my body. I use a psoriasis shampoo and leave it on until I’m done showering then rinse it. I get flares but I don’t spend thousands on anything that won’t help me. I’ve tried enough.

That is frustrating @A MyPsoriasisTeam Member! I hope things turn around soon. I have some pressure points issues, but on just a couple areas...mostly hips...and know how just one spot can impact your day,let alone so many! My rheumatologist recommended a combo nsaid/acetaminophen OTC that helps with both the pain and inflammation. it does help more than either alone, a "synergy," as he describes it. If you can't find the combo pill I imagine you could just take 1 of each as dosage is similar.
I turn 49 this year, never thought I'd feel so old some mornings! I "shuffle" in the morning until the hips warm up!

Thanks for sharing Susan. Your right its about finding what works best for oneself. I believe deep down there is more going on and one day hopefully there will be answers. I am patiently waiting for admittance to a Specialized Hospital and clinic focused on Psa, Rheumatoid Arthritis, fybromyalgia, and related autoimmune diseases. My doctor sent the Papers for me to be admitted for a 17 day Evaluation, now its a waiting game.

@ yes I do and I get the whole tingling burning feeling too. Feels like I'm not wearing a shirt and I'm sitting back on sandpaper and that's the recliner, anywhere.
Stress is my major trigger and like @A MyPsoriasisTeam Member id bounce right now if I could afford it.
