Hey Jackie. You are completely right on costly meaning without insurance like 5K. I feel fortunate
MD’s office has plenty of sample packs while I work through insurance.

So I don’t know yet what the final cost will be. But I may be on the manufacture website shortly myself.
But I will report as soon as know.

I know Otezla was chosen because of least interactions with my other meds used to treat the hypopituitarism and osteoporosis caused by the psoriasis, or PsA.
This is the direction which the Doc was using for my insurance.

We’ll see!

Thank you Joshua . It really does help to ease my mind . If you don’t mind me asking. I hear Otezla can be pretty costly . Not sure what “costly” means exactly . Would you say it’s definitely worth the price ?

I am a new member, however apparently I have had undiagnosed ear plaques for 14 years. In Oct 24 I experienced a shin plaque for the first time, inverse, groin, and palms within weeks.

Other than a few days of strong nausea, 2 months of Otezla has been a godsend for me.

I think clearer, no new rashes, joint pain decreasing. After 14 years I’m finally heading in the right direction.

Obviously I can’t comment on anything relating to you starting a family but I understand your medication concerns.

Hope this helps
