Hi Ashley,
I get what I think is psoriasis in "weird" places...inside my nose and on my gums-in one specific spot between 2 teeth. When I talk to doctors they are doubtful, and info online says it's "rare" so the doctors say probably not. They don't have an answer as to what it is if it's not psoriasis. For my nose I use the 2.5% cortisone cream I have been prescribed for my face. It clears it up.
Hope you find an answer, I know how frustrating it is to be dismissed.

While psoriasis can appear on the face in about 50% of people with the condition, having psoriasis inside the nose is actually quite rare. Psoriasis is more likely to appear on the outside of the nose or in the area between your upper lip and nose. If you notice symptoms inside your nose, it's important to have a healthcare provider examine it. They may do a visual diagnosis or take a small skin sample for testing. If confirmed as psoriasis, there are specific treatments available for this sensitive area, including:

• Low-strength topical steroid creams
• Special compounded creams with coal tar solution
• Topical immunosuppressants
• Combination treatments with antifungal or antibacterial medications

Remember that treatments used on other parts of your body may be too strong for the delicate nasal area, so always consult your doctor before using any products inside your nose.
