Cathy, I kept pushing my dermatologist because those were the most recalcitrant areas. And some of the best options can't be used there. I'd get some relief, but never clear it. They finally prescribed Zoryve and wow! It really worked. After 3 days the itching and irritation stopped. A week out and the color is almost normal. I guess you have to exhaust all other options before the insurance will cover Zoryve; some options, like Tacrolimus, were torture! Made things so much worse.

I also have inverse psoriasis, and yes, it can and does impact those areas! It's no fun! I have been sent for so many std screens (all negative...) and spent months using antifungals that never worked.

I just asked my dermatologist for a Rx for Zoryve, James. Thank you!

My psoriasis actually started as Inverse in the area between my legs and groin. As our uniforms were done by a laundry service my primary doctor told me it was a fungal infection. Most likely jock itch that I had caught during the laundry service from the male officers in my department. I used prescription and OTC fungal creams for treatment. It then showed up under my breast and they prescribed creams for yeast infection. I finally discovered it was most likely psoriasis when it started itching on my scalp.
