I have found that using a wrap after using medication worked for me. I slept with it on as that allowed the medication to really stay on my scalp instead of my pillows

Scalp psoriasis can cause redness, scaling, and flaking on your scalp that may lead to hair loss. If you notice these symptoms, along with potential itching or burning sensations, it's important to talk to your healthcare provider. They can properly diagnose your condition and recommend appropriate treatments.

Here are some tips to help manage scalp psoriasis:

• Use warm (not hot) water when washing your hair
• Apply medicated shampoos or treatments as prescribed
• Be gentle when brushing or combing to avoid irritation
• Consider using an electric shaver if needed to trim hair
• Avoid harsh hair products that could trigger flares
• Try warm water compresses to help with scaling When visiting a hairstylist, let them know about your condition so they can be extra gentle and use appropriate products. Some MyPsoriasisTeam members have found that certain hair dyes can temporarily improve symptoms, while others may experience irritation. Always do a patch test before trying new hair products.

I have scabs, plaquing, itching and bumps on my scalp....I use OGX extra strength rosemary and mint and it calms the itching...
Also, once a week I use a rosemary mint oil on my scalp....put it on, massage as normal put on a shower cap and sit for an hour then wash condition and style as you normally do.
