Have you tried any topical treatment? For starters a suggestion only is hydrocortisone for stinging you could see if that would help take that feeling out. But a dermatologist would best likely be able to give you stuff that would be most effective.
I've tried Dovonex cream and it really helps it's a synthetic vitamin D so there aren't any steroid use. There's also Vtama.. always be sure to read the pamphlet you get and instructions how to use it. Whatever you decide to choose to use.

Hope you find some relief soon.

Psoriasis can manifest differently in each person. While some experience flaking, others may have inflamed, bumpy patches that can be painful and sting. These symptoms are still consistent with psoriasis, which occurs when your immune system becomes overactive and causes skin cells to grow much faster than normal.

During active flares, symptoms like redness, inflammation, stinging, and pain are common. These symptoms can be particularly uncomfortable and may persist for weeks or months. It's important to work with your healthcare provider to manage these symptoms, as treating flares early can help prevent them from becoming more severe or interfering with daily life. They can recommend appropriate treatments specifically for your type of psoriasis manifestation.

Remember that psoriasis symptoms tend to occur in cycles - you may experience periods of active symptoms followed by periods of remission where symptoms improve.
