It’s accurate, though it doesn’t mean everyone will have a reaction .. we are all after all very different. I don’t share that information to dissuade anyone from being vaccinated. Not at all.
I shared that so that others may better understand what’s at play. For example, during the pandemic, many people posted online that the vaccine had given them ( fill in the blank ) or (name an unrelated condition of your choice.) This did scare others into avoiding it. The point is, the vaccine didn’t give anyone any condition.. instead, a percentage of people experienced different ways their immune system responded to it. Some very minimally, others in other ways.
Yes, the vaccine is still very important! I am not against vaccines ;)
I don't know that that is completely accurate. In order for the vaccine to be effective it does need to activate certain parts of your immune system but it is not the same as being infected with the actual pathogen. I would much rather deal with any effects of a vaccine than the actual disease!
I’ve read in multiple places that the immune system can dip as a result of having a vaccine. That the vaccine can be regarded by your body as an invader that it must defend against? And that mounting that defense causes other things to be able to get through the net, so to speak..
I've had Covid a couple times but never noticed a flare during or following Covid. I suppose anything that stresses your body or upregulated the immune system could cause a flare.
PLEASE! NO AI Answer How does COVID-19 affect psoriasis flares, particularly on the scalp?
