My doctor had me take it before and I didn't notice a difference. On Thursday I had appointment. He put me back on it with a steroid for 10 days, incredible difference. Pain level in my knees and right hand went from 15 on a scale of 1 to 10, down to about a 7. I love my rheumatologist.

Hi Brenda. I have seen many reviews on methotrexate-some good some bad. The bad side is basically some minor adverse reactions. The goods are all about bringing that inflammation down, less pain and for some no more skin deco. FYI: a doctor once said that if I don't want the prescip. then I could just take a larger dosage of Motrin. I called it Up under AI mode it tells all there if interested.๐Ÿ™‚

I haven't been able to stop it. My doctor says it helps any biologic I take and also does something to help protect either organs or bones I don't remember. I wish I could stop it though. It doesn't seem to help and it makes my hair fall out even though I take the folic acid

Yes. How ironic, just switched on yesterday. My doctor and I determined that I've been on Cosyntex for a while. I'm starting to have knee pain for approximately 4-5 months now. He's getting me approved for Skyrizzi. He says he thinks this would be a better fix for my knee pain.
