Hi Max, wish I could offer an option. I use the Gillette razors, but I don't tend to get psoriasis where I shave. I agree with TJ, moisturizing is probably important. I've noticed improvement in my face...bridge of nose and above my eye brows...where I get psoriasis after I started cleansing and moisturizing daily.

I would really think that moisturizing is important right after. Try something with salicylic acid in it to keep it exfoliated but moisturized at the same time. I think clean and clear brand makes something like that there might be others.

What are the best facial shavers for someone with facial psoriasis who shaves every 3-4 days?

Electric razors are generally recommended as the safest option for shaving with facial psoriasis. They're less likely to cut your skin compared to traditional razors, which is important since cuts can trigger new psoriasis lesions through the Koebner phenomenon.

If you prefer traditional razors, use a fresh blade and always apply moisturizer first, followed by a shaving cream made for sensitive skin. Currently, Perricone MD Hypoallergenic CBD Sensitive Skin Therapy Ultra-Smooth Clean Shave Cream has the National Psoriasis Foundation's Seal of Recognition as safe for psoriatic skin.

Key tips for shaving with facial psoriasis:

- Shave in the direction your hair grows to reduce irritation
- Change disposable razor blades every 5-7 shaves
- Clean electric razors just as frequently
- Shave slowly and carefully to avoid nicks
- Keep skin well-moisturized throughout the day

If your psoriasis is actively flaring, consider taking a break from shaving until it calms down. You might also consult a barber or stylist about facial hair styles that require less frequent shaving.
