Hi there Lynn, I was having for a very very long time while seeing Rheumatologist, both my Shoulder in a terrible amount of pain. I could left anything above my under breast ( no higher than that ) i mean, what is this.My Rheumatologist just told me it was Bursitis, just like that and end of appointment... so on my own, I looked it up. I started TRYING in my own to do the exercises & u did BUT!!!! It caused me More & new damage damage π π’... It got to a point that I was having difficulties with my DRIVING, no way π... I need to drive, I have,to drive... So with this happening I went and made an appointment with A PHYICAL THERAPIST STAT.. This was another whole new world I was entering and Sister, I am so glad I did.it was work, it was hard ,it was terribly Painful. Of course ,silly. But with the proper way, the correct way, and the continued dedication to put what I could into the workouts, A positive and so much wanted And needed pain relief, I was trilled... worked with therapist for about 4 to 6 weeks and I felt GREAT. I was Stronger than I was b4, which I did not expect. Now let's realize something here, I am 70 years old and I can say with Physical Therapy, I was Reborn, well . I make sure every single day, no matter what. I make time to put in 20 to 30 minutes to workouts on & off during . If you STOP , the pain will return
My arms(mostly bicep area) hurt with certain movements. My right hip and leg muscles do as well and also affect my daily life. Because my tests show only a slight increase in my markers for Inflammation, She could not say for sure if I have more than just psoriasis. I can say for sure this is very painful. I told my Dr. (Rheumatologist) about my arm pain and she told me it was a rotator cuff problem. Everything I read sounds like Enthesitis.
Can rotator cuff and bicep tendon tears be part of psoriatic arthritis?
Yes, these issues can be related to PsA, particularly through a condition called enthesitis. Enthesitis is inflammation where tendons and ligaments attach to bone, and it affects about 1 in 3 people with psoriatic arthritis.
