I just had my started Taltz on 12/04/2025, that was (2) injector pens totaling 180mg. Now I sit and wait again to see if it helps with the pain and swelling of joints. I'm hopeful. Please God let this new biologic be the RIGHT one.

Have you experienced side effects from Taltz?

Common side effects include:
* Injection site reactions (pain or burning sensation)
* Headache
* Nausea
* Respiratory infections
* Flu-like symptoms
* Fatigue

The injection pain is particularly notable with Taltz. A MyPsoriasisTeam member shared that while they felt better after starting treatment, the injection "burns so bad."

More serious side effects to watch for:

Like other biologics, Taltz affects your immune system and increases infection risk. One MyPsoriasisTeam member experienced their first yeast infection after starting Taltz, which required extended treatment.

Watch for signs of serious infection like fever, chills, muscle pain, rash, painful sores, or unusual urination. Contact your dermatologist immediately if you notice these symptoms.

It's important to track any new or changing symptoms and discuss them with your doctor. They can help you weigh whether the benefits of clearer skin outweigh any side effects you're experiencing.
