I havent tries them but I would if needed. I currently take oil of oregano with black seed oil to boost my immune system. It does help a lot. I had covid during Thanksgiving time and all I felt from it was fever for 1 day, headache and sorethroat. Last time I had covid started my journey with plaques psoriasis and PSA. And it came on like a bomb. I was unable to walk, eat properly, sleep well and pain was so excruitiating. This time with covid very mild systems and no severe pain,no swelling no nothing harsh. Was feeling better by Friday and only felt sick wednesday night. I am still taking the oil of oregano and black seed oil even now to keep boosting my immune system throughout winter. I feel the difference as well. PSA more bearable and it definately helps calm the electric shock pains i get in my arms and legs from fibromyalgia. I drink plenty of liquids like juices and water, eat mainly fruits and vegetables, watch my bread intake, and try to stick with a good mediterrainian diet as much as possible. Good balance in all is defi ately helping so I will try to continue this way.

Has anyone tried black currant seed oil for psoriasis?

The search results don't include specific information about black currant seed oil for psoriasis. However, they do mention several other oils that some people with psoriasis have tried, which might be helpful to know about.

Some oils that have been discussed include:
- Jojoba oil for scalp psoriasis
- Grapeseed oil (applied topically or taken as a supplement)
- Hemp oil (applied to skin or consumed)
- Tea tree oil (always diluted with a carrier oil)
- Castor oil

Before trying any new oil or supplement, it's important to talk with your doctor first. Natural oils aren't regulated by the FDA the same way medications are, and they're not considered treatments for psoriasis.

If you do decide to try a new oil, always do a patch test first. Apply it to a small area of skin and wait 48 hours to check for any irritation, itching, or swelling before using it more widely.

Have you considered asking your healthcare provider about black currant seed oil specifically? They might have insights about whether it could work alongside your current treatment plan.
