Members responded to the question about what psoriasis and PsA haven't taken from them with a mix of resilience and raw honesty about the ongoing struggle. Several members shared that their faith, family, love of crocheting, gardening, reading, and hiking remain sources of strength even on painful or fatiguing days. A recurring theme was an unshakeable belief in themselves and a determination to keep standing up for their own peace and quality of life no matter what these conditions bring.

It has not taken my faith or my family. That’s not saying I don’t have bad days, or bad depression days, but most days I can take a deep breath and remember that I am a child of God with a very wonderful family that loves me no matter what.

I still crochet, read, garden and for 30 years I went to work with it everyday. I still hike but maybe not on bad days. But I still read and from under my heating pad I still answer questions and try to help. One thing for sure. It makes us warriors

I still have belief in myself and that I am not willing to lay and let this illness take over me. Does it hurt at times ? yes, do I still suffer from the fatigue ? yes, am I still having unknown issues ? yes however, I will stand for my life and peace until I cannot anymore 🥰
