Members shared what their bodies need this weekend, with recurring themes of rest, heat therapy, and gentler movement to manage flare symptoms, particularly painful cracked hands and feet. Several members offered practical skincare strategies, including Freeman foot creams, O'Keeffe's Working Hands lotion, and wrapping hands or feet in Vaseline with saran wrap, cotton gloves, and socks to heal deep cracks and reduce pain. Many expressed the emotional tension of needing rest while battling guilt over undone tasks, alongside hope that dietary changes and consistent self-care routines can help control symptoms.

Not sure if I shared this with you but here it comes again. My right foot and both my hands were very deep and open. I first had to learn not to peel the loose skin, then I put prescription cream or Vaseline on and wrapped it with saran wrap. Put on a sock and gloves, would change daily. This was a must for me. If you havent tried this please think about trying. Good luck as I know the pain

Yes I do the same with the Vaseline, I have it on my hand palms. I use Vaseline all day and night along with white cotton gloves, off Amazon, and XXL Nitrate rubber gloves over top. It works great, reduces pain, but I make Sue to change it during the day.

Thank you very much for the information share

I think I need some alone time. If someone would put me in time out so I can reflect on my behavior? That would be great.

I still swear by Vaseline! That is what my hands and feet looked like as a kid. Dad had to carry me on the beach to the water to float. Sand was too hot. I can really feel the pain that you are in @A MyPsoriasisTeam Member😮
