Specifically if blood tests .
I waited three plus months to get to my appointment tomorrow and read the pamphlet they sent ahead. They state can be up to two weeks to get results.
The waiting is the hardest part.
Wonder how long someone has had to wait for such results and what was the testing for? (I suppose if multiple things can be a lengthy wait for all lab results).

5 years? How did you manage until then?
I got 10 things listed to be checked for today(three of them are for the same issue and two are also for another) and fortunately they are only four or five days to wait for results told today.
Some things are rechecks so I'm okay with that wait for it.
I got a diagnosis while I was waiting for surgery for osteonecrosis (which I had to wait until my hip actually collapsed to have addressed) so that I could try to clear my skin up before surgery. So it took roughly 3 years all around. I guess expediency is something I don’t expect from the medical system. It sucks having to wait, so I hope it goes quickly for you.
Wow...I can see how that delayed for that time then. Now ironically I'm seeing here at least Drs seem quick to suggest a referral to another. I've had that happen a few times now. This time suggesting back to my dermatologist..who isn't diagnosing any, just giving prescriptions..but may need a diagnosis of a hereditary thing if the Dr today doesn't have a finding with one limited test for something that may require more.
Glad you finally got that referral!
I think you may have the record on time waiting for it
Thanks for all the feedback. I appreciate to know some tests may be delayed results so to speak. I guess more involved sometimes?
It's just weird how you can go to a hematologist get results in a couple days. Even be tested for a few things then.. but getting into a rheumatologist is like get in line and wait around the block so to speak. There must be so many people going to that I'm guessing?
It's just frustrating when you have to get checked for new stuff and you've got to wait long, because you have no idea what it is.
I'm sure most are in the same boat with me on that. Just difficult to do.
Gee TJ, I have never had a problem since learning how to get on MyChart. One exception-waiting for a cancer report to come back 25 years ago. It was a holiday weekend. That is an eon to wait. Sorry of the wait. 🙁
