I was trying to get a post going about allergies n such/customized prescripts...

What would you customize, Art515? combine different active ingredients? Different carriers?

I know what U mean.

ah...well, I have an anecdote. I was given clobetasol solution, which uses isopropanol as a carrier, for my scalp but I felt it was making things worse. Clobetasol cream worked very well elsewhere, but you can't use it on your scalp...not a fan of greasy hair. my dermatologist said just to keep using the solution but after 6 weeks, it was worse. I found a new dermatologist who was perplexed as to why the other derm didn't give me the foam version. She prescribed it, and what do you know...it works!

sorta... when I first heard about customized prescriptions I was actually prescribed coal tar at a higher compound%. Not too fond of it but my question sorta revolves around that.... such as, what if we are allergic to one or two of the ingredients that produce an adverse reaction? or disable it from working? Are we able to "cut to the chase" & find the best topical or med instead of playing dig-dug pharma for the next 5 years? I see the allergy tests for sale but am hesitating for some odd reason.🤷🏻‍♂️Not sure what to think about it anymore except to ask more questions.🙂
