I have had plaque psoriasis for most of my life - 95%. I have dealt with this relatively successfully with prescribed medication but now I am menopausal and the itch on my scalp is real! At 64, I only got slammed with plaque psoriasis in late 2024, though there had been minor skin rashes dating back to 2015. But I had moderate to severe dandruff dating back to at least age 22. I certainly didn't expect that the cure I found for my psoriasis would also cure my dandruff. But it has been liberating nonetheless...
@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member have you tried clobetasol? it comes in a foam, which I use when I have a flare on my scalp, and a solution. The solution caused irritation but switching to the foam made a big difference. Neither make your hair greasy.
It works well, and quickly, for me.
Hey KirstyS. Magnesium gets rid of it for sure. Always check with your doctor though...
