Hi @A MyPsoriasisTeam Member. I was having issues and was stuck with just 2.5%Cortisol. I found a different dermatologist who prescribed Zoryve. It is amazing! you can use it just about anywhere and it worked really well for me. After a week my issue was gone and has not returned. I used it for 2 weeks then stopped.
I had genital Ps for decades and the only occasional relief I had was when a flare subsides. From my experience, I highly recommend you try it.

What's the fastest way to heal genital psoriasis? While there's no instant cure, there are effective treatments that can bring relief quickly. The best approach often combines medical treatment with gentle skin care habits.

The fastest relief typically comes from working with a dermatologist, who may recommend:

- Low-strength topical corticosteroids — first-line treatment for mild to moderate cases, though only used for 2–4 weeks due to risk of skin thinning
- Nonsteroidal creams like tacrolimus (Protopic) or pimecrolimus (Elidel) — good alternatives if steroids aren't suitable
- Systemic treatments like methotrexate or biologics (e.g., Cosentyx, Taltz) — for more severe or stubborn cases For faster symptom relief at home, these remedies can help soothe irritation alongside medical treatment:

- Cold packs or compresses
- Chilled moisturizers
- Aloe vera
- Diluted apple cider vinegar soaks (1 part vinegar to 4 parts water)
- Colloidal oatmeal baths or creams

One MyPsoriasisTeam member shared: "I've been clear of genital psoriasis for over a year now by taking methotrexate!"

Always check with your dermatologist before changing or adding anything to your routine, even over-the-counter options. Genital skin is sensitive and needs a tailored approach.
