Best Anti-inflammatory

Best Anti-inflammatory

I was wondering which anti-inflammatory has worked best for everyone. My fingers are always so swollen and the pain is bad. I do have RA also, but the swelling is just ridiculous and embarrassing. I used to wear a size 8 on my ring fingers, but now it would be about a THIRTEEN and that's no exaggeration. I use ice, Voltaren gel, and Etodolac. Etodolac is expensive this year and isn't working anyway. Any advice?

It's a DMARD. Few side effects for me when I was on it and used it later as an adjunct med.

Anti Inflammatory

Anti Inflammatory

I've been on Meloxicam 15mg daily for over a year but really do not find that it helps unless I take double the dosage that I'm prescribed. I just switched to Celebrex 400mg daily and am hoping that I have better results with it. What anti inflamatories have you tried? What if any do you feel work the best for you?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member said:

Meloxicam didn't work for me at all. I am taking enbrel and sulfalazine

Of all the NSAID's: Clebrex, Feldene, Indocin, Mobic Vivlodex, Orudis, Clinoril Dolobid, Relafen, which one is the most potent? If anyone of these has worked particularly good for anyone, please let me know what worked and also... what didn't. Thanks.

Psoriatic Arthritis

Psoriatic Arthritis

I was prescribed prednisone 4 weeks ago as my left hand swelled enormously and psoriatic arthritis was thought to be the cause. I have suffered with mild pustular psoriasis mostly on the soles of my feet for some 10 years. The drug was given pending receipt of the blood and MRI tests. I have a consultation with my Consultant which is due to take place tomorrow
It’s been nearly two weeks since i finished my dose notwithstanding the results were excellent I still had swelling which over the last… read more

What Biologics Have Helped Your ARTHRITIS. Not Skin, Just Arthritis. And What Other Drugs Besides Biologics.

I have been to many Rhuemy's. I am aware of ALL the drugs out there. What I am looking for is PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with a particular drug that has helped your ARTHRITIS.
I would like to know what drugs help alleviate the arthritis only, not the skin. And not opioids for pain. Not interested in pain killers. But something that helps the SWELLING and limited mobility. THANK YOU for sharing your experience.

Joint Pain

Joint Pain

I used biofreeze for joint pain when I was on biologics. Now when I use it my joints feel like they are freezing and brittle. I can’t use lidocaine allergic to it and can only use Tylenol. What does everybody use for pain?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member said:

I can only use Tylenol or Tramadol since they are monitoring my liver function very closely. Neither really do anything for the pain, I'm in constant pain 24/7.
