Donate Panasol II Denver Area

Donate Panasol II Denver Area

Hello everyone. I have a Panasol II UVB 6 ft light panel that I’d like to donate to someone in need. I’m in the Denver, CO area. I was recently prescribed a Davlin unit. My mother found this one for me years ago at a thrift store (bonus) and I’d like to pass along that fortune Any suggestions?

Thank you!

Why the switch from Panasol II to Davlin? is the Panasol old and needs work or bulbs or is there another reason? I thought the two were the same in terms of what they do. They have the same bulbs… read more

I also use coconut oil to help manage the symptoms. My dermatologist also has me on a topical trearment called Desonide. But the best treatment so far was a biologic called Humira.

You could try moisturizing more and see if that helps. I have a lot of pain on my scalp but no obvious psoriasis there. The pain is worse in the winter when the air is dry. I think it must be some… read more

Anyone Have Scalp Psoriasis And Also In Ears?

Anyone Have Scalp Psoriasis And Also In Ears?

I do not have anywhere else on my body. I cover my ears with my hair but when I have a bad flare up, it looks like I have dandruff. I use medicated shampoo for my hair and Mometasone Furoate Cream for my ears. The cream works pretty well but have to use it once a week or so. The bad part is if I get water in my ears, I get a really bad ear infection. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has the scalp psoriasis and how they deal.

Best thing for any part of the body is Exorex lotion. Actually clears up the psoriasis for a good while. I have tried all sorts of creams etc and it's the only thing in 46 years that has worked!

Beyond Topicals.

Beyond Topicals.

Any suggestions to bring up that help scalp psoriasis? See derm soon for the first time. I am ready for my scalp to give me a break. Would like to have a break for Once in 3 years at least. I am so scared of the some of the side effects though. Benadryl isn’t even helping the itching right now. I can’t itch all night.

Thank you for that info. I think the Tremfya makes my joints hurt even more so I may have to try this drug.

Will Swimming In A Chlorine Pool Irritate My Skin?

Will Swimming In A Chlorine Pool Irritate My Skin?

I'm hoping to start swimming to get gentle exercise. My skin is looking clearer and to be honest I don't really care what people think about my skin now, just want to get on with getting better which exercise and endorphins can only help with. I'm too tired and weak to go running or to the gym so was thinking swimming would be my best bet but I'm worried that chlorine will irritate or cause my skin to flare and I don't want that when my skin is improving. If anyone does swim I'd love to hear… read more
