Anything over the counter or what a doctor has prescribed would help when I go to the doctor and ask about it. Thanks in advance! :)

Has Anyone Had Success With Methotrexate?

Has Anyone Had Success With Methotrexate?

If methotrexate has helped you what kind of psoriasis do you have and where on your body do you have it. I have it on my hands and feet. My dermatologist said it's the hardest to treat those areas. My insurance denied Humira until I try 3 months of methotrexate. I'm on 5 mg every two weeks. Just took my second dose. I'm experiencing headaches and fatigue. Still having flare ups with my skin. I'm sorry we have to meet this way but it's so helpful to have support from you all!!

What Remedies To You Find Yourself For Your Face And How Would You Apply Foundation To The Face?

My face is suffering greatly over these couple of months and I was hoping someone out there could give me advice on how to treat psoriasis on the face either by home remedies or lotions or medication. Also I was curious to see what brand of foundation you would use on your skin that you have found works for you. I know all skin types are different but I would value your opinions. Thank you.

Anyone Have Scalp Psoriasis And Also In Ears?

Anyone Have Scalp Psoriasis And Also In Ears?

I do not have anywhere else on my body. I cover my ears with my hair but when I have a bad flare up, it looks like I have dandruff. I use medicated shampoo for my hair and Mometasone Furoate Cream for my ears. The cream works pretty well but have to use it once a week or so. The bad part is if I get water in my ears, I get a really bad ear infection. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has the scalp psoriasis and how they deal.

Best thing for any part of the body is Exorex lotion. Actually clears up the psoriasis for a good while. I have tried all sorts of creams etc and it's the only thing in 46 years that has worked!

Psoriatic Nail Pitting And Statins

Psoriatic Nail Pitting And Statins

Subsequent to an MI last year, and now on several heart medications for life; my nails (always slightly weak, inherited, but also diagnosed as with psoriatic nail pitting, have become much, worse, neither issue being helpful to a mechanical engineer, or a guitarist!

The splits occur at 90° to the nail's leading edge, along the pronounced, and pitted, ridge lines. Often painfully reaching the nail bed and beyond, unless I am able to clip the edge short enough to stop further snagging. (There has… read more

You can do the drop of glue yourself. Just a tiny drop stops the splitting.

I do wish you well. :-)
