Does anyone have bad psoriatic nails and go to a nail salon? If so, how did you find one that wouldn't freak out when they looked at the nails? Any recommendations for any in Southern Maine?
I know we aren't supposed to get them with our nails, but just curious if there are any rebels out there that have success with nail tips?
I have plaque psoriasis and I think I am developing nail psoriasis. I am so afraid of losing my nails. Is there anyone here with nail psoriasis. This is such a terrible disease. I don't know what to do. Is there anything that can help prevent nail psoriasis?
My teenage son has severe psoriasis on his nails only, not on his skin. It started when he was in 3rd grade and broke a toenail in taekwondo class. Now his nails are crumbly and painfully digging into his skin. Laser therapy helped a little. We are thinking to try biologics next. Anybody have advice on what worked specifically for nail psoriasis? Would love to hear from you!
I have had ps on my feet for about a year now and my toenails have become really thick and close to my toes, I can no longer cut them with clippers. Does anyone know if it is possible to get help from a nhs ( uk) chiropodist referred by my derm consultant? Has this happened to anyone else?
I had a routine doctor appointment yesterday and he looked at my fingernails and said that I have psoriasis. I told him that I don't have a single red plaque spot on my body that my skin itches and sometimes drive me insane. What I want to ask all of you is this: What is THE BEST OVER THE COUNTER CREAM/LOTION for my nail psoriasis and the ITCHY SKIN??? Thanks in advance......
