Yes, it could be related to your Psa. I get occasional tenderness in my heal where the tendon attaches to the bone. My rheumatologist said that places where the tendons attach to the bone are usual… read more

Beginning Of A Flare Causes Flu Like Symptoms? Is This "normal" For Psa?

Beginning Of A Flare Causes Flu Like Symptoms? Is This "normal" For Psa?

At the beginning of a flare for my PsA I feel like I an underwater - foggy brain - exhausted and achy. Almost like I am coming down with a virus. Is this normal do some of you have this same experience? At first I thought it was my sugar levels (I'm diabetic) but now I think maybe it is happening when I start to have a flare. Would love your thoughts. Thanks!

What More Can I Do?

What More Can I Do?

Been to the doctor 2x in the last 2 weeks. Dermatology this past Monday. Diagnosed as severe psoriasis. I’m currently on Humira & thyroid medication. Tried prednisone & stronger steroid cream. Nothing is helping. The skin on my hands, knees, legs, arms & feet are peeling away at a rapid rate. This is extremely painful. What more can I do or try?

But since having covid twice in the last 12 weeks I am plastered all over …. Can’t shift the covid and now the psoriasis- feel like I did when I was a teenager … can’t wear shorts or shorter dresses …. Just so uncomfortable and embarrassed 😞

Psoriatic Arthritis After An Injury…

Psoriatic Arthritis After An Injury…

After years of trying to figure out what was causing my SI/hip/groin/glute pain I was diagnosed with a left labral hip tear in 2015 and had arthroscopic surgery to repair it. Surgery was apparently successful. However, I’m wondering if that was just an incidental finding and if, in fact, I have psoriatic arthritis. For years I have had of “dermatitis” on the back of my scalp. Over the years I’ve had an increased amount of joint and muscular/skeletal pain; SI joint, hips, thighs, knees, and since… read more

Have Any Women Out There Had Their Breasts Become Painfully Tender Due To Psoriasis?

I’m newly diagnosed and have a lot to learn. I’m in a flare up now and in general my whole body is a little tender . But my chest is more so to where I’m nervous maybe something else is going on as well. I’m having to use creams, cbd oil, and ice packs to help with the pain. Just need to verify that this is psoriasis related

Anyone Else Had A Flare Up After Their Covid Vaccination?

Anyone Else Had A Flare Up After Their Covid Vaccination?

Had my first dose of the astra zenica vaccine nearly 3 weeks ago and my psoriasis has been so bad since. I've been managing to more or less keep it under control for nearly 4yrs and can't really put it down to anything else triggering this flare up, just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same?
