Recently started on biologics after a couple of years trying various topical and systemic treatments.
Tried Cosentyx first. Made zero difference after initial 5 weekly starter doses.
So Dermatologist has now switched me to Taltz. Just took first starter dose this week.
I note that both drugs interact with the same interleukin (IL-17A).
Does anyone here have any knowledge or experience of switching from Cosentyx to Taltz? How likely is it that Taltz will do what Cosentyx didn't?
my doctor wanted to put me on taltz since I know show signs of 2 different types of psoriasis but am afraid of the side effects so for the next 3 months i stay on the steroid creams plus use otezla, my question is for those on either otezla or talts... did you have any luck and did you get any bad side effects??? thank you so much in advance

I am about to begin the biologic Taltz and would be interesting in hearing from anyone who is and has had this treatment, i.e., side effects, how long before you experienced improvement, any information at all would be helpful.
Thanks very much,
Does anyone struggle with patches on their eyelids? It’s really just popped up in the past few months. Inner Corner of my left eye gets really scaled up as well. There isn’t anything that seems to give lasting relief. I’m currently taking 150mg of Cosentyx every 4 weeks. I’ve tried using Pomifera oil on it (which has helped some of my other patches) but it doesn’t seem to really help my eyelids.
I am having a bad week i cant walk my feet are cracked and bleeding . Currently am ising moisturiser and nigjt and morning syeroid creams . There not helping at all.
I have been offered either a psoriasis medication tablet i think . Or immunosuppresant medication but i dont know about either . Any imput would be appeeciated . I take 3 types of insulin and beta blockers so am nervous about medication .
