I have an autoimmune disorder that also relates to my psoriasis. Topical meds have NO effect on my skin, and prednisone has horrible short term and long term side effects. Just wondering if anyone else has similar combo and what treatments have they tried.

I do Humira injections, methotrexate, and topical, prednisone during a flare. Humira cleared my skin about 90% and the topicals keep it very minimal.

I have dealt with my psoriasis for over 3 years now. I have gone completely bald last year right before my wedding. My dr ended up teaming up with several drs even had drs from other countries come in to see me. No creams, topical nothing has worked. I finally was put on the remicade infusion. At first it didn't work due to getting it every 8 weeks
But now that I get it every 6 weeks and I use these really good topicals that I have to switch between every day I am doing so much better. My hair started to finally grow back but then just recently it started falling out again. Otherwise my skin is mostly cleared. Good luck to you.
