My dermatologist recommended this book, and I have scanned some of it at the library. It sees to be a pretty restrictive diet with some pretty spectacular results if the testimonials are true. I just wonder if it is sustainable. The hardest things for me are giving up coffee, tea and dairy.
i suffer with chronic psoriasis.i have tried everything.over the last 4 months i have used sun beds.100 minutes in total and has kept me psoriasis free for the 4 months.dont like using sun beds though.
Just read it,if you follow the routine which is hard it shows results. It works off the thought that the cause is a leaky gut. If you go this route I'd recommend a food intolerance test and cut out whatever shows in those results along with what the book says and go from there
It was recommended to me by a friend who had much worse psoriosis than i do. she didnt bother with the colonics or the apple phase of the diet . neither did she have all the oat baths. All she did was follow the diet strictly for 3 months. Her psoriosis cleared completely and then she could reintroduce other food back into her diet in moderation. I havent committed to the diet yet but did start using slippery elm first thing in the morning to line the gut and going to bed with a saffron tea which is recommended and i saw a quick improvement. (then wedding season came so i let it all go again but im slowly working back towards it. The results i saw were much better than any steroid creams i'd used and arent bad for you either. I'd recommend it. Also might be worth taking the notes from the book and getting a professional nutritionist to draw up a diet (although there is a slightly dated one in the back) this takes the pressure of doing it yourself. Feel free to message me with more questions.
I have no idea if it works, my mum bought it for me a while back and I have resisted it but I feel I have to give it a go. I'm only just opening it.
