Any Remedies To Reduce Burning And Itchiness Of Psoriasis?

A MyPsoriasisTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cork, IE

Recently my psoriasis is burning and becoming a lot itchier. I can't sleep at night because no matter what way I lie my psoriasis becomes affected. I have tried a number of things to rectify the issue but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Think about the detergent you use on your sheets. Make sure it's not tide or other strong ones. I stick with the baking soda type and rinse really well. It definitely makes a difference for me., I was using one detergent and my skin was burning!!!! My daughter does not have psoriasis and experienced the same. I agree about the dryness with the furnace on and avoiding hot showers.

I use a 24 hr allergy (claritin or zyrtec) which controls the itching.

I have pustular psoriasis on my feet and they constantly burn and itch. I have a compound prescription ointment with tar that does improve it. When it wakes me at night, I have a cool foot bath and rub lots of moisturizing creams On them.
