I have tried several different shampoos from prescription to home remedies and have not found one to work. I did have one that I used several years ago and tried to get it refilled only to find out my insurance company does not cover that shampoo any more. They cover a solution, but not the shampoo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

shampoo's with salicylic acid work miracles. Use a good moisturizing conditioner afterwards.

I use non-prescription Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated Shampoo Plus Conditioner with 3% salicylic acid and zinc complex that is specially formulated to relieve the symptoms associated with scalp psoriasis. This fragrance-free shampoo plus conditioner removes and controls scalp build-up, soothes irritation, eliminates itching and restores moisture. Dermatologist Tested. I buy this at Wal-Mart.
