Hi All
So I have had active psoriasis (plaque) for 10 years
I have been on Methotrexate for the better part of the time, I tried Acitretin, light therapy, topical treatments.
They both worked for the most part but I have anxiety & study part time, so the psoriasis never fades fully.
The Methotrexate has become too much to stomach, I have such bad side effects now that I can't bring myself to take it.
My psoriasis is spreading, sore and itchy.

That is exactly my situation now I am being changed to a biological called humira after being on methertrexate and before that fermaderm but stopped working and started effecting my stomach so go or a biological if docs let u x
Try biologics. I hated methotrexate and tolerate biologics much better.
Ask your doctor to change the pill form to taking an injection. I had problems taking it and my doc switched it to an injection
I take Methotrexate for my psoriatic arthritis ones a week. I have always used injects because my Dr said it was much easier on the stomach. Can you speak to your Dr about line of treatment?
I gave up on drugs and now just use creams and make sure I moisturise all over everyday. I use an after sun gel by Ego which is fantastic and soothing.
