I have taken many biologics (7 in total). Currently I am clear using Skyrizi. My body responds well to biologics but not surprisingly they lose effectiveness over time for me. I have asked multiple dermatologists and have asked other forums but nobody seems to have tried it. My motivation for the question is the fact that I have taken 7 of them and I am starting to run out of them… read more
No, I haven’t returned to one that was no longer working. However, I had to stop Tremfya for heart surgery and was not on it for four months, my skin did not break out until the very end of that time. I resumed the medication with excellent results! I’m just hoping that this continues! Amazing results and now I am comfortable without the profuse itching.
Aaron, I too used several biologics, Cosyntex, Tremfiya, slews of creams & now I too use Skyrizi. My dermatologist has prescribed creams in-between the refill process - as I agree...Its effectiveness wears off after about 4-6wks & you can only refill every 8wks. Maybe a suggestion of some of the medication lotions can work?
I went back on tremfya after surgery with s six month lapse between. Psoriasis was starting to come back after all this time. I was pleasantly surprised. So far better result compared to Humera or cosentix. I was losing hope. I keep my fingers crossed about this biologic
Tremfya is really working for me. I have been on it just over 2 years and it's like a miracle! Sadly it has not helped my psoriatic arthritis but I just thank the Lord not to have the sores and itching
Well that is the same question I have.. no I haven’t tried it yet
