Has anyone using Tremfya had cold sores (herpes simplex) triggered? On the medication guides it says it’s a side effect. I just started Tremfya and Sure enough a few days later I got the wrist cold sore ever! I am curious if others have experienced the is too. I asked my doctor and she said it’s not a side effect even though on all the medication guide it clearly states it is.
EllieS, oh good. I'm glad it's localized.
I don't have a business.
I agree, I’m glad they work for others, but not for me. I’m not going that route. First I used Coal Tar, which took patience but it works very well, nearly clearing me. Now, I’m incredibly thankful to have found Vtama. It took about a month to get working, but between that and cutting inflammation with food, I’m so incredibly improved.
That's why I don't take biologics. They shut down inflammation by shut down the immune system. No thanks.
Vtama is like a duplicate key that unlocks a switch that controls inflammation. It’s topical like CT but not systemic. I’ve been very cautious Re medications for Pso (read refused, do not want ) and have found that thankfully once relatively clear that proper nutrition and behavior keeps this up.
One of the miraculous aspects of Vtama is that it creates long lasting remissions in many.. they say on average 2-4 months, but I’ve been in a good place for almost a year now. Several recalcitrant areas remain in a ghostly stasis, so I’m working in those through reading and slow tinkering.
As it’s not advised to use on any healthy skin, there’s little chance of accruing any detrimental side effects from Vtama with lack of contact :) but yes, I hear you and agree completely. My onset followed ABX Rx I did NOT want to take and I’ve always been an avoider of any meds, OTC or Rx so yes I’m ever vigilant about this.

Vtama prevents inflammation in kinda the same way. Your body's ability to be inflamed around a wound or injury is what signals the body to heal it. Please be careful and watch for side effects.
