I'm sorry for asking a question I'm sure everyone has probably already asked but I'm new to this condition and I'm trying to learn as much as possible. What foods should I avoid? I've recently given up soda but I would like to know what else I should stay away from. What foods tend to trigger inflammation? I appreciate any and all advice. Thank you ❤️

I spoke with my Rheumatologist about this very thing and he laughed and told me there has been absolutely no scientific evidence to support gluten free diets being at all impactful to your symptoms. He said eating healthy is always good for your body but that does not mean removing normal, everyday foods from your diet. He lacks a bedside manner but he does seem to give me good medical advice and always errs on the side of caution...for what it’s worth.

It seems to help somewhat. It's hard to tell what particular thing is working between the diet, vitamin cocktail, and medication

Hi. I think everyone has their “trigger” foods. For me, coffee, wine, red sauce, most hot spices and most preservative. I did the AIP diet. It’s not a long term diet and you should read up on it to see if it is something you may want to try. Good Luck!
