I’ve been on Effexor for years but it’s not helped with pain of PsA. It’s helped a little with my migraines and depression.

There are some antidepressants that are reported to help people with chronic pain. I know that Cymbalta is one. I was on it for several years and it did help but coming off of it was very difficult. We have to assess the pros and cons and make the best decision we can for our needs at the time.
There are also some Biologics which significantly help with pain and inflammation from PSA.

I’ve never heard this, but I tried Effexor for my depression which made me suicidal.
