Successful Treatment For Nail Psoriasis? What Are You Doing?
My teenage son has severe psoriasis on his nails only, not on his skin. It started when he was in 3rd grade and broke a toenail in taekwondo class. Now his nails are crumbly and painfully digging into his skin. Laser therapy helped a little. We are thinking to try biologics next. Anybody have advice on what worked specifically for nail psoriasis? Would love to hear from you!
Green and recently black tea. But I think the key is the lemon. I just wanted to stop drinking coffee cause the caffeine started spacing me out. So I give my tea a good squeeze of lemon for taste. I do this twice a day like I would when I was drinking coffee. Before I knew it, the plaques on my hands, palms and fingers started to dry of and not getting itchy anymore
I am also in the SF East Bay Area! Do you mind sharing his name? We are planning to see Dr Zimmerman at Golden State Dermatology in Walnut Creek.
My dermatologist handles all skin issues but is a specialist and well know for psoriasis treatment. Lucky to have him in my area (east San Francisco Bay Area)
I think it's Heather I remember proclaiming the virtues of lemon and lots of H2O intake. Wise lady, she is.
That is interesting. What specific kind of tea are you drinking?
