I have had a bad flair up for about a month. In that month I have lot of hair. It is coming out in clumps. I Have bald spots all over head
:(
What can I do?
when a scab comes off it takes a chunk of hair with it? The scab is like cement. How can you soften or dissolve the scabs so they will stop ripping my hair out?
Will my hair grow back?

I also used the Derma Solve oil and it gave me so much relief. I wish I had known about it sooner.

This has happened to me twice and my hair grew back, so don't give up. But you have to get rid of the scales first.

I also get Kenalog (not sure if that's spelled right) injections in my scalp when I have a really bad flare. They are uncomfortable but really really help.

Hi Sonny. I don’t have any answers to your questions☹️ Sorry to see your worried about your scalp and maybe your joints. The hair that I lost with bad scalp psoriasis did grow back. I mostly picked at the plaques. When my hair was wet, I was able to gently remove some while my scalp was wet. I also used DermaSmoothe oil (prescription steroid). I got the added benefit of a real cute look in that you apply it, put on a shower cap, and sleep with it on. Alternately, you can apply after a morning shower and wear the shower cap all day. Sounds darling, huh?! It did give good results by kind of melting the plaques.

I use T/Sal shampoo from Neutrogena. I put it on my scalp and let it sit in a lather for 20 min then rince. I do this every day till the skin loosens and start to cone off. After i use the shampoo i use Head and Shoulders White Charoal to condition my hair. I hope this info can help you :-)
