I can relate to the limitations this disease puts on us. My children are older than your son, but i am also limited in how i can interact with them. Im unable to sit, comfortably, at a table to play a game. Often the brain fog gets in the way as well. Ive taken methotrexate (often an insurance required 1st treatment), Otezla, Humira and now Enbrel. It seems to be working, but only in terms of slowing the damage-not helping the day to day issues. There are a lot of kind folks on this site with info they will happily share. Know you are not alone and this group is here to help support folks like us. Please keep us posted. Or come back even if only to vent. 🌷

Hello Rajones and welcome to the group. Lots of us here understand what you are going thru. I, too, struggle with fatigue. There are many days I’m only ready for interaction with humans in the afternoons. Body fatigue, brain fog, joint stiffness. What treatment are you on now and what have you taken in the past?

Fatigue is a common symptom of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Many people with PsA experience extreme exhaustion that doesn't improve with rest. This fatigue can affect both cognitive and physical functioning, interfering with daily tasks and overall well-being. It's not unusual to feel exhausted and need to rest frequently. Here are some tips to manage this fatigue:

- Exercise: Light physical activity, like a 15-minute walk, can boost energy levels.
- Diet: Eating nutritious foods, such as lean proteins, whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables, can help.
- Sleep Hygiene: Establish a relaxing bedtime routine, avoid electronic devices before bed, and keep a consistent sleep schedule.

If fatigue continues to interfere with your daily life, consider discussing it with your healthcare provider.
