Are the injections you get biologics?

My dermatologist won't do the injections on my scalp, he says that because the scalp is so vascular it will only last a week or two. He won't inject I sensitive areas like armpits either because it thins the skin and can cause discoloration. The injections work great on my elbows and other areas though with no problems
