How long did you use the cream with steroids?

I have inverse psoriasis between my legs and scrotum, as well as plaque psoriasis on other parts of my body. Dermatologists have told me that the steroids prescribed for my "regular skin" are too damaging for use near genitals, or on the face, where I have a few small lesions. She prescribed Alclometasone for sensitive areas like face and genitals.

I used taro mometasone cream and it helps me to heal 90% of it but it made my skin really thin as a result it became really sensitive. Because I used for so lon taro mometasone cream g it caused me some side effects too. May be look in to it more but when I did my research it says u should not use it on ur face and around your genitals . But it’s worth trying for short term .

I use nothing with steroids in it. I was on prednisone for 8 years and developed steroid induced diabetes which my endocrinologist told me it is here to stay even being off the steroids for over 6 years. Steroid creams and pills are good medications with sometimes have serious side effects. At least they do for me.
