I’m going to share my method for treating localized psoriasis with the community. This was suggested to me by an experienced dermatologist. And works for me. I have several areas of psoriasis (legs knees elbows ). And I have used this method for years. I understand your experience may be different from mine. I am not a doctor.
Go to Petsmart and buy a ‘lizard light’. Photo attached. This is advertised as a wavelength of 365 nm. Very close to the wavelength of the light box. I put mine in a ‘clip-on’ fixture, found next to the bulbs at Petsmart.
Cover non affected areas AND YOUR EYES.
Position the areas to be treated about 12 inches from the light bulb.
Start a timer set for 3 minutes.
Turn on the light for 3 minutes ONLY.
Skip 1 day
Repeat this for 4 minutes.
Skip 1 day.
Maintain the pattern of 4 minutes, skipping every other day, AND DONT do more than 4 minutes.

If you’re still reading this and have had a chance to stop laughing at my silly idea, let me know how it works. I tried PUVA and UVA/B treatments which worked splendidly, but for small localized areas, this method is great.

Remicade worked for me temporarily. About 1 year. I’ve been on Enbrel for over ten years. Works great. No side effects that I can tell.

I am just two weeks after my first infusion and I now have double pneumonia. Assuming it has something to do with the infusion as I was not sick prior to taking the infusion. I don’t think I’ve even ever had pneumonia before, so I’m not sure I’ll be taking any more Remicade or any biological anyway

They started me on Humeri and then Enbrel and then
Talz and now ilumyma each one worked 2 to 5 years I still on Ilumyna
