I have always been told it is a life-long diagnosis and condition; particularly because it’s an autoimmune disorder. It can go into remission though. I will go into remission for years, longest was 8 years, with not even a tiny spot of it anywhere; and then BAM! here it comes! Multiple medical professionals have told me you do go into remission but it’s not curable and you will battle it, in some way, for life.

My doctor told me you can go into remission but it is very rare.
