For hair loss due to scalp psoriasis, here are some treatments and remedies that might help, based on the knowledge base:

- Deep Moisturizing with Oils:
- Coconut Oil: Apply coconut oil to the scalp, cover with plastic wrap for a few hours, then wash with tar shampoo.
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil: Apply to the scalp, cover with a shower cap overnight. This can help with bleeding, cracking, and plaque removal.

- Neem Oil: Adding neem oil to conditioner can help with redness and flakiness.

- Medicated Shampoos:
- Coal Tar Shampoos: Helps reduce inflammation but can irritate the skin and make it more sensitive to sunlight.
- Salicylic Acid Shampoos: Softens and removes psoriasis scales but may cause skin irritation or temporary hair loss.

- Natural Remedies:
- Aloe Vera: Use juice, gels, or creams.
- Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse: Mix 1 part vinegar to 1 part water.
- Tea Tree Oil Shampoos: Can help with symptoms.
- Dead Sea Salts: Use in baths.
- Capsaicin Pepper Creams/Ointments: Can be applied to the scalp.

- Gentle Hair Care:
- Avoid tight hairstyles, rollers, and curling irons.
- Be cautious with hair coloring, perming, or relaxing.
- Find a hairdresser familiar with scalp psoriasis.

- Medical Treatments:
- Corticosteroid Injections: Into the scalp.
- Phototherapy: Using hand-held excimer laser devices.
- Antifungal Medications: For those with yeast formations in the gut.

Always consult with your dermatologist before starting any new treatment to ensure it's appropriate for your specific condition.

@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member, it depends on if the follicles of the hair are damaged. Try to use products that are natural ,and sometimes I use aloe vera on the scalp also. Green tea and different oils are good. Gently massage the scalp for stimulation and that may help. I hope this helps:)
