I too have had many surgeries from a horrific mva. And x3 for dic issues in my neck. My spine is a defunked hot mess. I use other than the injections of methotrextate and cosentex. And now I am on the highest dose of both... and I am clear skined and out of pain. Took quite awhile to get to a place that for now I am stable.
However, not to be too bleak sounding but I know that things may change and often does from what I read. All I know is when I was in total bodywise in horrible pain... I needed to bug my docs to let them know the suffering I felt. Even changed rheumatory doc, and primary care, and twice I was in need of changing my dermatologist.. 😳😠
So really be ready to find what works for you. In order to do that you must be able the best care team for you.
