I just looked up side effects of sulfazine...They include headache, rash, sizziness, fever, indigestion, nausea,aching of muscles, chills, diarrhea, hives, loss of appetite bleeding gums cough, swelling, yellowing of the eyes or skin, chest pain dark urine, difficulty swallowing, general feeling of discomfort or illness, FATIGUE, pale skin, sore throat, stomach pain. Another contributing factor could be if it is incompatible with any other medications that you are on.

I took sulfasalazine for about 6 years I then had to stop it because my breathing was just not right the Rheumatologist nurse actually phoned me on the day I was heading to the doctors I am also on methotrexate but stayed on that the Rheumatologist nurse asked if I was taking any extra painkillers to which I replied just my normal ones they advised me to stop them straight away as my ALT levels were off the map they should have about 63 mine was well wel over 200 I had so many blood tests taken at my GPs I lost count I do know I had ten taken in one go then I ended up Bluelighted to hospital a couple of days later more tests done because of my breathing an x Ray then back to doctors it turns out I had hemolytic anemia that is when the bone marrow is not producing enough normal blood cells that contain oxygen and B vitamins it turns out that I had metabolic syndrome and could end up with pancreaitis over the course of a few weeks after stopping my sulfasalazine my levels went back to normal I am not trying to scare you but get checked out you have my permission to show your doctor this message take care xxxx

Perhaps you should check with your physician or pharmacist to be sure all your medications are compatible with sulfazine.

Hi Zena Warrior Princess 👸, I started with Sulfasalazine, it doesn't make you tired (atleast it didn't me. You may have fibromyalgia too. Make sure you tell your Dr any symptoms. I have fibromyalgia as well, I was falling asleep driving to work.
