Thanks for reply. I am not taking it after more research I am too concerned about the potential side effects. I am taking a different route. Found a functional medicine doctor. Trying acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and I already do hot yoga 4 times a week. Hot yoga gives me tremendous temporary relief from the pain in feet and hands. Also started the Gundry diet. Will post how I am feeling in a few months.

hi deborah, i took methtrexate for 3 mths but could not tolerate the side effects. i did not experience any improvement in my pain and inflammation. maybe i didnt give it long enough. open to suggestions, like you maybe someone has a few tips on how to manage side effects. my dr was not very helpful

I was on a biologic back I 2011 .added MTX after 6 months to help the medicine work. After my years different biological and methrotrate pills, I am still on MTX. I have had no side effects. I take pill form. Been on 25 mg once a week down to 10 mg once a week. Doses changes as my symptoms change.
