Hi Marie. Interested in your question as i have had staph in the past. But not in the afflicted area of my psoriasis. Makes you wonder if staph might get in your system and come back later but not be visible? Maybe that is what the autoimmune system is fighting when we suddenly present with psoriasis?

Hi Marie. When I was a kid I had psoriasis that ended up with a staph infection. The psoriasis was on the backs of my legs and buttocks and the doctor said I got it because my skin was cracked open and I sat on a contaminated toilet seat at school. I got a steroid injection and ended up with side effects. I’m sensitive or allergic to a lot of medicines.
