Does anyone else only have vulvar psoriasis?
I talked to my gynecologist about over use and he recommended that I only use a thin layer one a day for 2 weeks and then go off of it for a week. I also use estradiol to help with the thinning issue. It is sooo pain when I flare. My rheumatologist prescribed a pill called Leflunomide and it has helped tremendously with my genital psoriasis and with my hair falling out.
Hi, I was on otezla for 18 months. It took four months to get over the nausea and I never got rid of the additional fatigue. I stayed on one pill thankfully as the reason I went off is that my immune system was suppressed way to much that my mouth broke out in thrush and herpes simplex 1, in my mouth and down my throat. Now I already have a lower immune system from chemo in 2005 that I’ve never come back 100% from but would do it again tomorrow if needed it was so successful for my MS.
If those are your only side effects hang in there for three months and if your arthritis is feeling better hang in for a fourth month. I found that it worked very well for me! That’s why I hung on for four months, my pain was reduced in my hands by a good 75%, certainly tolerable. I think Tesla is worth getting over the side effects if you can..
Is anyone else taking Otezla? The side effect of stomach upset and diarrhea is quite annoying especially when you’re also having a flare up of vulvar psoriasis. If you’re taking Otezla, how long was it before you felt relief? How long until the side effects went away?
Thanks!
