Whatever medication you're going to take when it's new always look for side effects listed before agreeing to do it. It's your body you're putting it into. Even if it says rare they list it because it happens to somebody at some time. Or they wouldn't put that on there.
And to the person that said about methotrexate, that's a dmard not a biologic.
But regardless it is a scary one. My white cells count dropped so low I have to go to a specialist to get checked now for it, I'll find out Monday more hopefully something about how it affected me. I mean ongoing or further
Cherie, I took the H biologic for 8 months to supposedly dry my breasts up. Which it did not do. I had a skin condition and have it still since I was 28 called hidradenitis suppurtivia. Docs around here thought the h.s. was related to the Zuska's disease which it was determined I had in Houston. Anyways, this biologic started making me ill, and then I developed psoriasis on my bottoms of feet and palms of hands. I had never had psoriasis before. I took three doses of Skyrizi also, but had to quit to have another breast surgery. I would say it has helped most ppl and most do not get a side effect, I was just an unlucky one. Read the possible side affects online for yourself. It says on there new or worsening psoriasis. Which mine was and is a new case for about 3 years now. I couldn't tell if Skyrizi did anything or not since I stayed on it a short time. I hope 🙏 for the best for you whatever you decide.
Thank you, Gentle hugs
I am not a candidate for biologic’s, so I can’t offer much help
Thank you for the information I appreciate it and hope the best for you
