There is no reason for you to stop expressing your pain or frustration. We are all in this together! I'm curious to why your dermatologist wants you to change from a biologic that is working for you. I had to change mine because on my last one I was getting worse and worse.

I'm glad the Cosentyx is helping Sandee. I'll admit, I'm nervous about changing biologics. The dermatologist feels a newer one would be better for both the arthritis and skin issues. Going from how debilitating my PsA was to basically totally normal makes me apprehensive to switch. The dermatologist wants me to talk to the rheumatologist...she offered to talk to him. I may bring it up at my next appt.
Another thing I'm feeling is a little ungrateful. My skin issues are very mild. you usually can't look at me and see anything. My finger nails are fine, I get frequent splinter hemorrhages, and my toe nails have white spots, but nothing very obvious. Some new ridging is more obvious. I have constant itching of my scalp, but I don't lose sleep or have flakes.
On the whole, I feel bad for "complaining" when I know others have much more severe symptoms.

I am wondering if the Clobetasol just doesn't work for me either, Joanne. at least this new dermatologist is considering that it might not work and is putting me on a different formulation, if the carrier is different and it's still not working it's probably the Clobetasol. My previous dermatologist dismissively said it's the best thing, just keep using it. Some doctors really shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine!
